An initial glimpse into the 2024 solvency ratios of European and British insurers is revealed in analysis of the Solvency II and Solvency UK disclosures of 148 insurers, a day after the official publication date of the 2024 SFCR reports.
71 firms reported an increase in their solvency ratio, the same number as those reporting a decrease. Six insurers reported no change in the ratio.
The analysis is based on 148 QRT reports processed by Solvency II Wire Data.
