Analysis of the annual reports of 115 Lloyd’s syndicates for year-end 2022 & 2023 reveals that close to 40% reported over GBP 1 billion* of total assets under management.
42 syndictes in the sample reported total assets over GBP 1 billion (see charts below) compared to 37 syndicates the previous year**.
Within the distribution of syndicates reporting less than GBP 1 billion, 31 reported less than GBP 100 million in 2023 (27, 2022).
