Early analysis of the 2022 group SFCR reports reveals that only 15% of European insurance groups have published information about IFRS 17 in the latest round of Solvency II public disclosures.
Results were obtained conducting text analysis of 200 of the 2022 group SFCR reports available on Solvency II Wire Data. In 2021 only 8% of group Solvency and Financial Condition Reports included information about IFRS 17.
In addition, only 9% of 1,600 solo SFCRs reviewed included information about IFRS 17.
