The 2024 Solvency and Financial Condition Report (SFCR) of CNP Assurances Group published ahead of the official group Solvency II public disclosure date reveals a significant increase in the group’s Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR).
The increase in the SCR is the main driver for reduction on CNP’s solvency ratio; down to 237% from 253% in 2023.

Tier 2 and tier 3 capital rising
Despite the group’s Eligible Own Funds (EOF) remaining almost unchanged from last year the distribution of EOF tier 2 and tier 3 capital has risen significantly over the period.

Since 2016 CNP’s EOF has more than double, and today stands at EUR 38 billion.
