Solvency II Wire Data today launches the SFCR Compendium, a new way of reading the SFCRs, highlighting key changes each year.
The SFCR Compendium below is built on results from LCP’s tenth annual survey of the top 100 non-life insurers in the UK and Ireland: Ten years of Solvency II. It covers twenty companies from that report: the ten with the highest solvency coverage ratios and the ten with the lowest. The five with the highest ratios are open to all readers. The other fifteen are available on registration.

Fairmead Insurance Limited, one of the five dashboards open to all readers.
The SFCR Compendium is powered by Solvency II Wire Data, which has collected and processed the SFCRs and QRTs of European and UK insurers for every reporting year since 2016.
Gideon Benari, founder of Solvency II Wire Data, said: “We built the first SFCR database prototype in the summer of 2016, and delivered full QRT data from day one of the Solvency II public disclosures in May 2017. For over a decade Solvency II Wire Data has led the market with innovative solutions including groundbreaking analysis and advanced data extraction from the SFCRs.”
Mr Benari added: “As we enter the age of artificial intelligence, Solvency II Wire Data is uniquely placed to harness its power to deliver solutions for our clients both in data analytics and in text analysis of the SFCRs. The SFCR Compendium is a product of our deep understanding both of the SFCR data and of the requirements of our growing subscriber base.”
The SFCR Compendium is part of a growing suite of AI products developed by Solvency II Wire Data as it continues to deliver comprehensive and groundbreaking coverage of the insurance public disclosures across Europe, the UK and globally.
