Media Release: The Governance Trap and the future of regulation

Solvency II Wire and the Centre for Analysis of Risk and Regulation (CARR) at the LSE bring together representatives from ten regulatory authorities for a cross-sector dialogue on the role of governance in regulation.

LONDON Wednesday 10 March 2016 – ‘The Governance Trap and the Future of Regulation’ is a collaboration between Solvency II Wire and the Centre for Analysis of Risk and Regulation (CARR) at the London School of Economics.

The event brought together ten senior representatives from regulatory authorities from a wide range of sectors to engage in unique dialogue on the role of governance in regulation.

Participants explored emerging themes in the increasing emphasis on the role of good governance in regulation and discussed more effective ways of integrating it into practice.

The unique cross-sector debate was followed by a public session with a select audience of senior industry practitioners.
