The Solvency II Wire Practitioners’ Forum (SIIWPF) is an invitation-only online forum that aims to become the premier online discussion group for Solvency II practitioners to share knowledge and insights on the challenges of implementing Solvency II.

Why an online forum? Since October 2013 Solvency II Wire has been running the Solvency II Wire Regular Meeting Group, which brings together a wide range of practitioners and has become a platform for thoughtful and engaging debate on Solvency II and related matters. Meeting participants regularly comment that the discussions are extremely useful for sharing insights and testing their own understanding of the rules and how regulators will interpret them. The SIIWPF is the ideal place to continue these discussions and engage a wider audience. Discussion topics include points raised in the meetings as well as detailed comments and insights from me and others. How is the SIIWPF different? The regular meetings have shown the high value in engaging a niche group of experts. The SIIWPF builds on those relationships and Solvency II Wire’s reputation by encouraging dialogue in an exclusive environment of practitioners and experts. Much like the content on Solvency II Wire, the SIIWPF strives to create a practical and lasting resource. I moderate and actively participate in the forum to ensure discussion remains pertinent and on topic.
